JD Ballast Features

Engineers among our crew use modern, state-of-the-art equipment to create high-performing ballasts for consistent light output, bulb compatibility, safety and energy efficiency. They are tested one by one for quality control so you don't have to worry about low quality ballasts any longer because we know you would rather concentrate on your grow.  JD-Lighting ballasts has dimming feature of 50%, 75%, 100%, with the 110% being proven to actually hit 1100W.

Our electronic ballast dims gradually, while leading competitors use a single dimming method where users experience a sudden brightness, then dims to a low aluminum level. This may cause damage to the lamps. Our resonance ignition is also designed for the right amount of voltage to strike the lamp in order to initiate a gradual ignition rather than a fast single-ignition strike.

Below you can compare JD Lightings Vs. Competitive Brands during lamp ignition.

Competitor A has a resonance ignition of (<10.2kv, 100ms).

Competitor B has a pulse ignition voltage over 2.7kv with a pulse width lower than 2.5 μs.
(A pulse range over 7kv might threaten the safety of a ballast.)

Our Ignition waveform illustrates the resonance Ignition of (<6kv, 150ms), lower than Competitor A. The higher the ignition voltage, the easier it can affect the lamp life.
Resonance ignition is much easier to re-strike a lamp than pulse ignition.
